Job Description

Operations Assistant -
Japanese Bilingual Preferred Location:
Huntsville, AL Compensation:
$55,000-$60,000 annually
Hours:
Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Employment Type:
Full-Time, On-site Japanese language ability is preferred. Japanese skills are helpful for supporting communication during customer and manufacturing partner visits. Position Summary This is a hands-on operations support role rather than a traditional Executive Assistant or secretarial position. The Operations Assistant will coordinate communication, follow-ups, documentation, scheduling, and other day-to-day operational activities. Japanese language ability is a plus for supporting communication with relevant business partners. Key Responsibilities Support daily business and operational activities. Coordinate with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and other business partners. Gather information and provide updates to management for review and approval. Follow up with external parties based on internal direction. Assist with scheduling, documentation, reports, presentations, and administrative tasks. Maintain and update existing business documents and materials. Use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for routine business activities. Accompany senior staff on customer and manufacturing partner visits as needed. Support additional operational projects based on business needs.
Qualifications Required:
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization, coordination, and follow-through. Professional and dependable when working with internal and external stakeholders. Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small-team environment. Ability and willingness to travel locally and regionally for business visits.
Preferred:
Japanese language ability for business-related communication. Valid driver's license and ability to drive.
