  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Job Scope:
  • Generally responsible for working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure milestone dates are met in support of the overall project and construction schedule. Responsibilities also include reporting vendor data status, fabrication status, recovery plans, and shipping information to the project team and the end user. Some travel for shop surveillance may be required.
  • Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
  • + Familiarity with and utilization of department standards.
+ Developing and maintaining supplier/contractor relationships. + Interpreting project schedules .and fabrication schedules + Developing expediting plans for the tracking of vendor data and materials. + Working with suppliers and fabricators to ensure adherence to contractual delivery dates + Communicating status of vendor data and equipment to the Project Team and Client

  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certification:
  • Certification is not required for this position
  • Experience:
  • This position requires at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Expediting.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • + Knowledge and application of company standards. + Ability to organize effectively. + Extreme attention to detail. + Ability to negotiate with suppliers. + Working knowledge of International Commercial Terms (INCOTERMS). + Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written. + Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • + Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
