Job Description

Woodland Heights Senior Living, in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a compassionate and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join their team. This is a working position , meaning the individual will not only manage staff scheduling but also provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) when needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and passionate about supporting both residents and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
SchedulingAdministrative Duties:
Create, maintain, and adjust staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts Manage call-offs, shift changes, and last-minute staffing needs Coordinate with department leaders to align staffing with resident care needs and census changes Monitor overtime and staffing budgets, making adjustments as needed Maintain accurate scheduling records and communicate updates clearly to staff Assist with onboarding schedules for new hires Direct Care Responsibilities (CNA): Provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in accordance with care plans Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Support residents with dementia and memory care needs using patience and empathy Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff Promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Qualifications:
Active CNA certification in Arkansas Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care preferred Prior scheduling or staffing coordination experience strongly preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or holidays as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents as required Must be able to perform CNA duties safely and effectively
