This role is essential in ensuring efficient scheduling and coordination of appointments within a dental office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a thorough understanding of dental terminology and administrative processes. Duties Manage and coordinate appointment schedules for patients, ensuring optimal use of time and resources. Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments, provide reminders, and address any scheduling conflicts. Utilize scheduling software, to maintain accurate records of patient appointments and follow-ups. Verifying insurance benefits Presenting treatment plans to patients. Skills Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Proficiency in dental administrative support functions, including familiarity with HIPAA regulations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple schedules effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in using scheduling software and other office applications for efficient task management.
