We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scheduler/Intake professional to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a Scheduler/Intake for Bakersfield Community Home Health and Hospice, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Nursing Managers, Directors and staff to gain beneficial insight and experience in the home health care industry. The position is FULL TIME, Monday through Friday, in a professional office setting. Scheduler roles provide exposure to the following areas: Work closely with nurses, therapists and chaplains to ensure seamless patient care. Communicate changes to staff, patients, and supervisors in a timely manner. Provide clear direction to direct care staff and troubleshooting scheduling changes as they arise, ensuring continuous patient care. Handle urgent schedule changes and adjust staffing as needed to accommodate emergency situations. Participating in team meetings. Performing general administrative duties including answering phones, filing, and all other tasks that will support the home health and hospice team daily.
