90-day initial project with strong potential to convert to a full-time, permanent role based on performance and business needs About the Role Step into a hands-on People Operations role where accuracy, service, and momentum shape each day. You will keep payroll moving on time, champion a positive employee experience, and uphold compliance across records, recruitment, and site operations. From welcoming new hires to resolving time and attendance questions, you will be a trusted point of contact for employees and leaders alike. A Day in the Life Start the morning reviewing the attendance point system, generating and routing disciplinary notices to supervisors when needed. Support weekly and bi‑weekly payroll in ADP, help prep W‑2s and payroll-related reports, and process wage verifications and unemployment claims. Welcome new hires alongside the HR Generalist—prepare files, complete and maintain Form I‑9s, and conduct orientation. Create and distribute management reports that keep leaders informed and actions clear. Respond to employee questions with timely, customer-focused support. Maintain accurate, well-organized employee records; assist with correspondence, termination documentation, and workplace investigations. Drive full-cycle recruiting—open requisitions, post jobs, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and extend offers. Prepare security badges for restricted areas and facilitate site-wide events such as benefits fairs, team gatherings, and volunteer activities. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with federal and state laws; partner with the HR Director on special projects and other duties as assigned. What You Bring Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required). Associate's degree required; Bachelor's in HR, Business, or related field preferred. 1-3 years of administrative experience, ideally within HR or a manufacturing/industrial setting. Experience with ADP payroll systems (preferred). Familiarity with ITAR compliance, security badging, or union environments (a plus). Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to partner effectively with employees and leaders at all levels. Detail-driven, organized, and confident managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
