Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of Huller& Sheller. This position involves data entry, paperwork, communication with staff, management and truck drivers, scheduling, and assisting with receiving and shipping operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Check in incoming almond loads and verify paperwork
  • Answer phones, emails, and assist visitors
  • Enter and maintain grower, load, weight, and production information
  • Coordinate truck arrivals, pickups, and deliveries
  • Communicate with farm managers, truck drivers and vendors.
  • Track inventory and product movement
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems
  • Assist with invoices, purchase orders, and other office paperwork
  • Follow company safety, quality, and food-processing procedures
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties
  • Manage staff timecards, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of working hours
  • Handle and manage new hire documentation during onboarding
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous office, agricultural, or food-processing experience
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel/Word
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
