Job Description

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking an RFMSS Scheduler / Functional Administrator to support the National Training Center Range Operations and Maintenance contract. The position administers, maintains, and operates the current version of RFMSS; schedules and de-conflicts range and training-area use; allocates resources subject to Government approval; maintains standardized system data; supports users; and produces required utilization, scheduling, and administrative reports. The base salary for this position is $75,000 to $79,000 depending on experience.
Tasks include:
  • Perform duties as the installation RFMSS administrator and maintain and operate the current version of RFMSS.
  • Use RFMSS to document the control and use of training facilities and required preventive maintenance.
  • Schedule planned training and administrative events in accordance with G3 priorities and allocate resources subject to Government approval.
  • Conduct quarterly range and training-land in-progress reviews; lock in user requests as directed and de-conflict previously scheduled resources when guidance changes.
  • Produce and distribute the daily electronic range and training bulletin; produce and distribute hard-copy bulletins during system outages.
  • Provide bi-weekly training bulletin updates to the Training Support Division Chief.
  • Train new Government RFMSS users and provide user manuals as needed.
  • Implement Government-provided RFMSS updates and data-entry guidance within three working days.
  • Notify the Range Officer and OSCOR of RFMSS failures within two hours; continue operations using hard-copy procedures and upload all information after restoration.
  • Conduct quarterly data scrubs, maintain standardized data, respond to internal and external RFMSS data inquiries, and produce utilization and annual range operating/repair cost reports. Required Skills Formal training and certification on RFMSS version 3.3.
  • Ability to administer RFMSS, perform standard data entry, maintain data accuracy, and support system users.
  • Ability to schedule and de-conflict concurrent range, maneuver, and administrative events in a high-OPTEMPO environment.
  • Ability to produce accurate daily, bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual reports and scheduling products.
  • Effective coordination and communication with Government personnel, training units, and supported agencies. Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting range operations, firing-desk scheduling, or installation training-resource management.
  • Knowledge of range and training-area utilization, preventive-maintenance tracking, and resource allocation.
  • Experience providing RFMSS user training and troubleshooting system or data issues.
required Experience Demonstrated ability to perform RFMSS scheduling and functional-administrator duties. Preferred Experience Experience in a high-OPTEMPO range operations environment coordinating standard and non-standard training requirements, Training-event scheduling, resource allocation and prioritization procedures, Range de-confliction procedures, experience with Military range quality control metrics, and RFMSS data scrub experience.
Required Education:
High School Diploma, GED w/relevant experience
Preferred Education:
  • RFMSS version 3.3 administration and scheduling certification
  • RFMSS data standardization certification
