Our beautiful campus includes Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing. We are proud of our long-standing, compassionate team and are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a difference. Our 52-bed Skilled Nursing community in Lake Forest is seeking a Director of Staff Development Infection Preventionist to lead education, training, and infection control programs. Position Summary This full time DSD assistant will support the DSD trainer by creating and maintaining staff work schedules and maintaining all paperwork in compliance with State and Federal regulations. The ideal candidate has both experience working in a skilled nursing facility and confidence working with computers to facilitate use of electronic scheduling and timesheet review. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain schedule for 30+ Certified Nursing Assistants Monitor employee attendance, punches, and timecards Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to resolve scheduling gaps Support urgent staffing needs and last-minute changes as needed Maintain employee documents in keeping with Department of Public Health standards Track employee completion of training events and routing health screening Calculate hours worked per patient day and monitor daily sign-in sheets for completeness Assist management with employee reviews Provide general support and help maintain a productive work environment Motivate staff to have fun and look forward to coming to work! Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent schedule coordination or staffing experience Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an appreciation for working in a fast-paced environment Capable of organizing and maintaining paper files.
