Job Summary Santa Barbara Vascular Specialists / Ventura County Vascular Specialists is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Surgical Scheduler to join our Oxnard team. In this role, you will coordinate both outpatient procedures and hospital-based surgeries, working closely with physicians, hospital systems, patients, and insurance providers to ensure a seamless surgical experience. Responsibilities Schedule outpatient procedures and hospital surgeries. Coordinate with physicians, hospital staff, patients, and insurance companies. Obtain authorizations and verify insurance eligibility. Prepare surgical paperwork and provide pre-operative instructions. Maintain accurate patient records in Epic and eClinicalWorks. Communicate professionally with patients by phone and email. Ensure documentation is complete and HIPAA compliant. Assist with other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of surgical scheduling or medical office experience preferred. Experience scheduling procedures in a hospital or surgical practice. Proficiency with Epic and/or eClinicalWorks. Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and customer service. $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
