We are looking for someone who can be relied on to stay organized, follow through without reminders, and take ownership of how the day-to-day operations run. If you prefer being told exactly what to do, need frequent reassurance, or rely on others to solve problems for you, this will not be a good fit. About the Role This role combines customer communication, scheduling, and administrative work with a strong focus on organization and operational improvement. You will be the first point of contact for customers while also helping bring structure, clarity, and consistency to how the business runs behind the scenes. In a smaller company, the work you do here will have a direct and visible impact. The more organized and effective you are, the more the business improves as a result. This role starts part-time and is expected to grow into full-time within the next few months as performance and business growth align. What You Will Be Responsible For Customer Communication & Scheduling Answer phone calls, emails, and messages professionally Help customers with scheduling, questions, and concerns Manage and adjust technician routes throughout the day Communicate clearly with both customers and technicians Organization & Systems Create and maintain organized systems for tasks, notes, and processes Help document and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) Keep information accurate, consistent, and easy to access Identify recurring issues and help solve them permanently Ownership & Follow-Through Complete tasks without needing reminders Track open items and ensure nothing falls through the cracks Follow up consistently with customers, technicians, and internal tasks Take responsibility for outcomes, not just activity Accountability & Team Support Be comfortable following up with others to ensure tasks are completed Help keep the team organized and aligned Contribute to a team environment focused on reliability and consistency Who Will Do Well Here This role is best suited for someone who is both hungry and humble. Needs constant reminders or supervision Repeats the same questions instead of learning and documenting Gets overwhelmed when multiple things are happening at once Avoids ownership or hesitates to make decisions Seeks high flexibility without first establishing reliability Prefers reacting to tasks rather than improving how things are done Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Part-time to start This role is expected to grow into full-time within the next few months for the right person. Compensation Starting at $20/hour Commission opportunities available (discussed during interview process) There will be a $1/hour increase upon obtaining a pest control license Additional increases available for completing relevant certifications over time Strong performance is recognized quickly. This is not a role where growth takes years.
