Job Description

We are looking for an organized and proactive Operations Assistant to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth event setups, maintaining facilities, and collaborating with team members to achieve organizational goals. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual labor tasks such as moving furniture, equipment, or materials for events, relocations, and other operational needs.
  • Assist with basic repairs and maintenance activities under the direction of the Operations management team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to execute tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests and communicate updates to team members.
  • Report damages, issues, or repair needs to management for timely resolution.
  • Handle tools and equipment responsibly, ensuring proper use and regular maintenance.
  • Support event setups, including arranging refreshments, supplies, and signage, and assist with post-event clean-up.
  • Provide front office support when needed, including sorting mail, greeting guests, and monitoring deliveries.
  • Manage inventory levels for office, kitchen, and restroom supplies across multiple locations.
