Operations Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting event logistics. This position offers a variety of responsibilities requiring both organizational skills and hands-on involvement.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and materials to support events, relocations, and operational needs.
• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks under the direction of Operations management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently execute assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Report damages, repair needs, or other issues to the Operations management team.
• Utilize tools and equipment responsibly and ensure proper care and maintenance.
• Support event setup and cleanup, including arranging supplies, signage, and technical equipment.
• Provide front office assistance when covering for the Receptionist, including sorting mail, greeting guests, and managing deliveries.
• Monitor office supply inventory and ensure timely replenishment for kitchen, bathroom, and workspace needs.
