310TUTORS is seeking a proactive, reliable, and highly organized Center Coordinator to ensure the smooth day-to-day functioning of our Santa Monica learning center. This is a dynamic role that combines front desk responsibilities, scheduling coordination, and exceptional customer service to support both staff and families in a fast-paced educational setting.
Respond promptly to inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and follow through consistently.
Exceptional Customer Support:
Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, students, and tutors; maintain a high standard of service and professionalism.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Manage tutor and student schedules, update recurring lessons, and troubleshoot conflicts in Oases.
Center Management & Flow:
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth transitions between sessions and a well-organized learning environment.
Lobby Engagement & Atmosphere:
Create a warm, welcoming front desk presence; maintain a clean, calm, and student-friendly atmosphere.
Staff Engagement & Support:
Provide real-time support to tutors during shifts and help address operational needs as they arise. Also, enhance workplace satisfaction and team dynamics.
Closing Responsibilities:
Secure the center at the end of each shift and ensure all tasks are completed before closing. Ideal Candidate Punctual, dependable, and action-oriented. Excellent at multitasking and communicating clearly. Organized and tech-savvy (familiarity with Monday.com is a plus). Personable and professional with a calm, supportive demeanor. Takes initiative and thrives in an educational setting. Qualifications Cleared background check. Prior experience in customer service, front desk, office coordination, or an education or youth-serving setting. Strong organizational and multitasking skills; comfortable managing schedules and competing priorities. Tech-savvy; comfortable learning scheduling tools such as Oases and Monday.com. Excellent verbal and written communication. Reliable, punctual, and able to work all listed in-person shifts. High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred.
