Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Vice President (AVP) to lead our AI & Data Science (AI&D) Scaled Operations & Transformation initiatives. This pivotal role drives the development, execution, and scaling of enterprise-wide AI, machine learning, and data-driven solutions. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will oversee complex technology programs, foster cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the seamless integration of innovative AI capabilities into our business operations. Your leadership will empower teams to deliver transformative results that enhance efficiency, security, and competitive advantage across the organization. Responsibilities Lead the strategic planning and execution of large-scale AI & Data Science operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise architecture supporting AI initiatives, including cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), virtualization (vSphere), and network security protocols. Manage cross-functional teams comprising software engineers, data scientists, system administrators, and project managers to deliver complex projects utilizing Agile methodologies. Drive innovation by integrating advanced machine learning models, AI algorithms, and automation tools into core business processes. Establish robust governance frameworks for data security, compliance (PCI standards), risk management, and disaster recovery aligned with NIST standards. Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate emerging technologies such as APIs, DevOps practices, and cloud computing solutions for scalable deployment. Develop and oversee budgets for technology initiatives while managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts to maximize value. Promote a culture of continuous improvement through change management practices, training programs, and technical mentorship for team members. Skills Extensive experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure including cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization (vSphere), SAN storage solutions, and network administration (MPLS, DNS). Proven expertise in software development languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, PHP, Node.js, React (including React Express), Angular, CSS, HTML; familiarity with RESTful APIs and enterprise application frameworks. Deep understanding of databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB; proficiency in ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles encompassing firewalls, network security protocols (VPNs), DNS management, Active Directory integration, VoIP systems, and information security standards. Skilled in project management methodologies such as Agile and SDLC; experience supervising technical teams through project lifecycle from planning to deployment. Expertise in system administration tasks including server management, change management processes, disaster recovery planning, and system design for enterprise solutions. Familiarity with DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines; experience implementing enterprise solutions using APIs and microservices architectures. Leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional teams at senior levels; excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders. Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS for payment security; understanding of intellectual property law relevant to technology innovations. Pay:
$270,000.00 - $360,000.00 per year
