Job Description
The Ballpark Operations Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of the ballpark. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day upkeep of the facility, preparing the venue for baseball games and special events, and working with contractors to ensure all areas of the venue are properly maintained. This is a hands-on position that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented facility while supporting all operational aspects of the organization.
Non-Baseball Events:
- Assist with the daily maintenance, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the stadium, grounds, and surrounding property
- Perform routine maintenance including pressure washing, minor repairs, and general facility upkeep
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of stadium signage, furniture and equipment
- Monitor the condition of the facility and report maintenance issues requiring additional attention
- Oversee inventory and ordering of operational supplies
- Help maintain compliance with safety standards
- Assist with offseason projects, capital improvements, and facility enhancement initiatives
- Ensure seating areas, concourses, suites, restrooms, and premium spaces are event-ready
- Assist Hosted Events Manager as needed including set-up and tear down for concerts, community events, festivals, and other special events
- Assist Food and Beverage Director with equipment upkeep and overall cleanliness of Food and Beverage areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
