  • $80,000 a year 6 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Series 6 Research Customer inquiry handling Experience practicing in the securities industry Full Job Description As a Registered Investment Operations Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience while supporting investment management, financial planning, and relationship management efforts.
This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and growing their expertise within a collaborative and rewarding wealth management practice. This is a full-time in-person position to start with opportunity to be hybrid. The hours for this role are Mondays through Thursdays 8:30am
  • 4:30pm MT, and Fridays 8:30am
  • 2pm MT.

Responsibilities:
Client Service & Relationship Management
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client service needs
  • Support client onboarding and account-opening processes
  • Prepare investment proposals, performance reports, and meeting materials
  • Assist clients with online account access, account linking, and e-delivery enrollment
  • Help establish and service securities-backed lines of credit
  • Proactively address client inquiries and service requests Investment & Portfolio Implementation
  • Open, maintain, and service investment accounts, including retirement, trust, and non-qualified accounts
  • Process account funding, transfers, rollovers, conversions, distributions, and other transactions
  • Execute trades and implement portfolio rebalancing recommendations
  • Monitor asset allocation drift, cash balances, and transaction activity
  • Assist with investment research, due diligence, and portfolio administration
  • Analyze distribution strategies, including Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) and related tax considerations Operations, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Maintain accurate client records, account documentation, and CRM notes
  • Ensure activities comply with firm policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor transactions and account activity for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Support operational processes that promote efficiency, risk management, and excellent client service
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of investment accounts, retirement plans, trusts, and wealth management operations
  • Understanding of securities transactions, account servicing, and financial planning concepts
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, portfolio management software, custodial platforms, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, advisors, custodians, attorneys, and accountants
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach
Requires:
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Series 7 preferred, or Series 6/SIE with expectation to obtain Series 7 within 90 days
