This business unit operations under the Asset Management Operations umbrella maintaining 650+ Mutual Fund Family relationships with daily trading volumes that exceed $1 Billion. MFO is a cross-functional team that handles multiple functions within Mutual Fund Operations, including, but not limited too: Trading, Dividends, Sub Accounting and Vendor Relationships. You must have the ability to maintain a good working relationship with our external Clearing Correspondents, external Mutual Fund Companies and Transfer Agents, and internal business partners. To be successful, you will be adaptable to change and work collaboratively with cross-location business partners. We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location. What you have To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years' experience with the back-office operations of a brokerage or financial services firm Complex problem-solving skills Strong analytical, research, data entry and prioritization skills Proven experience collaborating across business units Ability to understand and mitigate risk Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient with
Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with vendor relations or sub accounting relative to Mutual Funds Ability to maintain a positive attitude during times of heavy volume and/or change Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to maintain accuracy while processing large volumes of work under strict time constraints Detailed orientated Bachelor's degree Series 7 & 63 In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities What's in it for you At Schwab, you're empowered to shape your future.
