Collaborates and communicates with professional and paraprofessional staff, schedules designated services with staff, clients, families and other providers to fill client needs in a high volume environment. Ensures the timely and accurate delivery of services based on customer expectations and staff availability. Scheduling Schedules services for high volume of clients of Independence at Home (PCA, Live In and Homemaker services) in assigned territories by utilizing computer and agency software package to assign staff to open shifts based on client need and staff availability Reviews employees that are underutilized and over utilized to increase employee satisfaction and decrease overtime Communication with Office Triage and escalate client and employee concerns to appropriate staff Case conference with supervisors and/or manager to strategize solutions for challenging clients Communication with Clients Communicate with clients regarding schedule updates, soliciting feedback, making adjustments based on feedback, providing clarification for standard client inquiries Communication with Employees Troubleshoot caregiver concerns regarding use of scheduling application Meet with new caregivers on orientation day and organize a caseload based on availability Document all phone calls, emails and text messages relevant to client care including schedule changes, service changes, demographic information, client deactivation and care plan updates Performs other duties as assigned Mandatory On Call Scheduling Complete all above scheduling functions, for all territories during assigned closed office times Function as Sales Coordinator, for all territories during assigned closed office times Escalate all emergent issues to
On Call Supervisor or Manager Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Two years experience in managing multiple priorities and tasks including interacting with customers preferred Experience in health care preferred Experience in private pay scheduling preferred Computer literate Data entry and typing skills Telephone skills Highly organized Customer Service Skills We take great care of careers.
