Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Home Care Scheduler to coordinate client care schedules efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and experience in managing complex scheduling processes within a healthcare or home care setting. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to patient satisfaction by ensuring seamless coordination of care providers. Responsibilities Develop and maintain daily schedules for home care providers, ensuring optimal coverage aligned with patient needs. Coordinate with caregivers, patients, and family members to confirm appointments and address scheduling conflicts promptly. Utilize talent management software and scheduling systems such as Workday, Kronos, or similar platforms to manage staffing logistics. Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure staffing levels meet demand while adhering to legal and regulatory compliance standards. Monitor caregiver availability, track shift changes, and manage last-minute adjustments efficiently. Collaborate with recruitment teams to facilitate onboarding of new caregivers and support ongoing training initiatives. Maintain accurate records of schedules, patient information, and caregiver assignments in compliance with privacy laws and organizational policies. Qualifications Proven experience in scheduling within healthcare, home care, or related service industries. Strong knowledge of talent management software such as ATS systems (e.g., iCIMS, Taleo) and HR systems like Workday or UltiPro. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and manage relationships effectively. Familiarity with employment law, HR legal compliance, and labor regulations relevant to healthcare staffing. Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume scheduling demands with attention to detail. Experience in using social media marketing for recruitment purposes is a plus. Knowledge of HR sourcing, external recruiting, and full cycle recruiting processes enhances candidate sourcing efforts.
