Join our team at the Chase Oncology Infusion Center and bring your exceptional talents to a team that makes a real impact—every single day. If you love helping patients, staying organized, and being part of a fast paced, supportive team… we want to meet you! In this role, you'll be responsible to coordinate and schedule all oncology appointments for established patients such as, laboratory, chemotherapy infusion, blood products, Physician/APP, injections, nutrition, chemotherapy education, genetics, symptom management and survivorship appointments; as well as coordinating radiology studies, internal/external referral appointments as requested by providers, nurses, and other patient care team members.
What you will do:
Greet patients, answer phones, schedule patients Assist clinicians with pre-certifications/referrals, faxes and chart preparation Ensure the provider's schedules are timely and accurate Obtain accurate, timely registration and insurance information Provide clerical support to physicians, clinicians, mid-level providers and staff
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent College coursework in the secretarial or medical sciences preferred Minimum of one year experience working in a physician's office required, preferably in a similar capacity Familiarity with medical terminology required Ability to communicate well and listen effectively. Bilingual is preferred
