Job Description

The Lodge at Historic Lewes is seeking an organized and communicative Scheduler/Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial to ensuring high-quality resident care by developing, managing, and maintaining optimal staffing schedules. In addition to scheduling, this position supports the accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll and ensures compliance with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities Scheduling:
Develop and manage daily, bi-weekly, and monthly schedules for resident services team members, ensuring regulatory compliance and proper staffing levels.
Communication:
Proactively communicate schedule changes, open shifts, and policies to staff; keep management informed of staffing issues.
Payroll & Attendance:
Monitor team member time and attendance records, and assist with accurate, timely processing of bi-weekly payroll.
Administration:
Respond to payroll/timekeeping inquiries, maintain staff confidentiality, and track FMLA/LOA/Worker's Compensation in collaboration with HR.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience:
Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is required.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with scheduling/payroll software is a plus.
Attributes:
Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Follows instructions and takes responsibility for tasks. Physical Demands Must be able to sit, stand, and walk frequently.
