About the Role Nation Safe Drivers (NSD) is seeking a Client Operations Specialist to support our clients after the sale and help ensure their accounts are successfully implemented, maintained, and supported throughout the client relationship. This is a post-sales operational role focused on coordinating client needs, solving problems, maintaining accurate account information, and working across departments to keep client initiatives moving forward. You'll work closely with Sales, Technology, Project Management, and Operations to translate client needs into actionable next steps, identify and resolve issues, and make sure commitments are followed through. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized and detail-oriented, but also comfortable thinking critically, troubleshooting problems, and figuring out what needs to happen next without being given every step.
What You'll Do Post-Sale Client Support:
Serve as an operational point of contact for clients following the sales process. Coordinate the transition of new accounts from Sales into Operations. Review client requirements and ensure the appropriate internal teams have the information needed to move projects forward. Coordinate tasks, timelines, and follow-ups across Sales, Technology, Project Management, and Operations. Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or potential issues and take action to resolve them. Follow up on outstanding items and ensure commitments are completed on time. Help troubleshoot client questions and operational issues, escalating when appropriate.
Account & Lifecycle Operations:
Maintain accurate client and account information across internal systems. Review account data and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Conduct quality assurance checks and identify discrepancies that require correction. Monitor ongoing account activity and help identify operational issues or process gaps. Research issues, determine the appropriate next step, and coordinate resolution with the necessary teams. Support account changes, updates, and other client requests throughout the relationship. Maintain organized records and ensure important client information is communicated to the appropriate stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Problem Solving:
Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, or bottlenecks within client processes. Recommend practical improvements to make workflows more efficient and reduce errors. Help develop and maintain procedures, checklists, and other operational resources. Use sound judgment to prioritize competing requests and determine when issues require escalation. Look beyond individual tasks to understand how processes impact the overall client experience.
Client Support:
Coordinate account closeout activities when a client relationship ends. Ensure systems and account records are updated accurately. Coordinate outstanding operational requirements across internal teams. Capture relevant client feedback and identify opportunities for future process improvements.
Required:
2-4 years of experience in client operations, account management, account support, customer success, sales operations, business operations, project coordination, or a similar role. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to investigate an issue, identify what is missing or causing the problem, and determine the appropriate next step. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders. Comfortable working across departments to get answers and resolve issues. Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from start to finish. Comfortable learning new technology, CRM, account management, and operational systems. Strong follow-through and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Ability to work with confidential client and business information. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including functions such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, sorting/filtering, and data validation , with the ability to analyze and reconcile data to identify discrepancies or trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a B2B client-facing or post-sales environment. Experience supporting account management, customer success, client operations, or sales operations teams. Experience coordinating implementations, integrations, projects, or client transitions. Experience using CRM, ticketing, project management, or account management platforms. Experience with data validation, quality assurance, reporting, or process improvement. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Microsoft Excel certification (such as
Microsoft Office Specialist:
