JOB SUMMARY

Primary responsibility is efficient routing execution and capacity planning for assigned markets using routing systems and operational tools. This role works to build efficient routes that balance service, cost, and capacity while maintaining clear communication with field leadership and supporting overall operational performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute daily routing activities for assigned markets using routing systems (e.g., Cheetah, RBMS) Build efficient routes with a balance of service, cost, and capacity utilization Adjust service day availability and limits to support demand and optimize job mix Perform route batching, route adjustments, and updates based on daily operational needs Identify capacity gaps and support actions to maximize available routing capacity Communicate regularly with market leadership regarding routing plans, changes, and constraints Support coordination with field teams to align routing execution with operational needs Review and update customer scheduling to ensure accuracy and alignment with routing plans Monitor routing performance using available reporting tools and dashboards Review and manage cases or requests in Salesforce as needed Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams in daily operations Regular attendance and punctuality required Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES

Typically reports to Management. Direct supervisor job title(s) typically include: Manager or Director of Routing Team Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience Requirements High School diploma or equivalent, some college desirable 0-2 years of experience in operations, logistics, routing, or related field, or equivalent experience Experience with routing tools, scheduling systems, or Salesforce preferred Strong organizational and problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
