Full Job Description Job Summary:

Tryfacta is seeking an Elections Support Specialist

•Tabulation / Clear Ballot for our client in Doral, FL 33172 . This is a temporary contract assignment supporting the County's Election preparation, testing, ballot scanning, tabulation, and related election technology operations.

PM Schedule Requirements:

Must be available for overtime, extended hours, and weekend shifts as needed , including short-notice assignments. Responsibilities Assist permanent staff with countywide election preparation, tabulation, and Clear Ballot activities . Test all ballot styles and voting equipment according to established procedures. Prepare and verify test ballots, test decks, and testing materials for private and public testing. Perform Logic & Accuracy (L&A) testing and verify ballot patterns. Label and verify thumb drives with the appropriate precinct information. Assist with thumb drive verification and ballot transmission testing . Verify precincts and equipment being tested. Assist with Vote-by-Mail ballot processing , including scanning ballots and verifying counts. Perform data entry and quality assurance of datasets, worksheets, and election-related records. Assist with automated ballot scanning and auditing processes while ensuring compliance with established procedures. Perform machine count reconciliation and verify election-related counts and records. Prepare and make copies of transmittal forms and other documentation for Tabulation records. Maintain, organize, and properly store test ballots and election materials. Assist with inventory and other logistical activities, including moving materials within the department and using hand carts and pallet jacks as trained. Answer collection center calls and communicate questions, issues, and concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, policies, and election procedures . Meet established deadlines and productivity requirements while maintaining accuracy and quality. Provide effective communication and coordination with coworkers, supervisors, and other divisions. Assist the Information Systems division and perform other election-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid driver's license. At least two years of work experience. Basic to intermediate knowledge of computers and technology processes. Ability to work with data, spreadsheets, worksheets, and computer-based systems. Ability to lift and carry at least 15 lbs. Must be able to follow detailed oral and written instructions and established procedures. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic to intermediate/advanced computer skills. Knowledge of office practices, procedures, and professional communication. Experience with data entry, quality assurance, or technical/clerical processes is preferred. Ability to review and verify information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail . Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to identify and communicate issues to supervisors or lead staff. Ability to make minor decisions within established procedures and guidelines. Ability to handle confidential election-related information appropriately. College degree or some college coursework is preferred. Knowledge of computer programming or technology processes is a plus, but not required . Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, extended shifts, weekends, and short-notice assignments .

Pay:

$21.91 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
