Compliance & Operations Specialist Location:

3850 West 108 Street, Suite 1 & 10, Hialeah, FL 33018 Position Summary Amcar Freight, Inc. is seeking an experienced Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) professional to assist our company with the implementation, activation, compliance, and ongoing operation of a Foreign Trade Zone at our Hialeah warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with U.S. Foreign Trade Zones, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), FTZ inventory controls, admissions, withdrawals, recordkeeping, and compliance procedures . This individual will work closely with Amcar Freight management, our Customs professionals, software providers, customers, and CBP to establish a compliant and efficient FTZ operation. Key Responsibilities Assist Amcar Freight with the FTZ activation and implementation process . Coordinate documentation and requirements associated with U.S. Customs and Border Protection . Develop and maintain the company's FTZ procedures manual and internal controls . Establish procedures for merchandise admission, storage, manipulation, transfer, withdrawal, and export. Manage or oversee CBP Form 214 admissions and other required FTZ documentation. Ensure proper inventory control and recordkeeping in accordance with applicable FTZ and CBP requirements. Assist with integration of FTZ procedures into Amcar Freight's warehouse management system (WMS) . Establish procedures for inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, audits, shortages, overages, damages, and adjustments. Train warehouse, traffic, customer-service, and management personnel on FTZ procedures. Support CBP inspections, compliance reviews, audits, and requests for documentation. Monitor day-to-day FTZ transactions to ensure continued compliance. Work with Amcar Freight customers to develop procedures for merchandise entering and leaving the FTZ. Identify opportunities for customers to benefit from FTZ operations while maintaining full regulatory compliance. Experience & Qualifications We are specifically seeking someone with direct, practical FTZ experience .

Candidates should preferably have:

Several years of hands-on Foreign Trade Zone experience. Experience with FTZ activation and/or operation . Strong working knowledge of CBP FTZ requirements and 19 CFR Part 146 . Experience with FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping systems. Knowledge of CBP Form 214, admissions, entries, withdrawals, exports, transfers, and inventory reconciliation. Experience preparing or maintaining an FTZ Procedures Manual . Experience communicating directly with CBP regarding FTZ operations. Experience with warehouse/distribution operations is strongly preferred. Customs brokerage, bonded warehouse, freight forwarding, import/export, or international logistics experience is highly desirable. Employment Arrangement Amcar Freight is open to discussing the appropriate arrangement depending upon the candidate's experience, including full-time employment or an initial consulting/project-based engagement with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position .
