HR Operations professional responsible for supporting back-end administrative HR processes with a primary focus on separation processing, employee separations, related documentation, final pay-impacting changes, and collaboration with Payroll, Time & Attendance, and other HR operations teams. This is a back-end, administrative HR role and is not recruiting-focused or employee-relations focused.
Job Responsibilities:
Process voluntary and involuntary termination transactions in Workday and other HR systems. Manage retirement, end-of-assignment, and contract-end processes. Prepare and administer separation-related documentation, including termination letters, severance documentation, exit packages, and compliance forms. Ensure completion of final pay-impacting data changes and coordinate with Payroll, Time & Attendance, and other HR operations teams as applicable. Monitor adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements throughout the offboarding process. Manage HR cases and resolve issues using strong critical-thinking skills without relying on scripts. Handle escalations with minimal supervision. Maintain spreadsheets, reports, and formulas using Excel beyond basic data-entry capabilities. Collaborate cross-functionally, with each team member owning part of the overall process.
Skills:
2-3 years of experience in HR Operations or HR Processing. Experience with separation processing and/or case management. Leave of absence experience can be considered transferable. Workday experience required/strongly preferred. ServiceNow experience highly preferred for ticketing. ADP experience preferred for payroll. Strong Excel proficiency, including formulas, reports, and spreadsheet management. Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage escalations and work independently with minimal supervision. English required. Spanish, French, or Portuguese are nice-to-have; French is the most desired additional language.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. Must be able to report to the Tampa site. Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM preferred. 40 hours/week. Must be comfortable reporting to a manager based remotely in Costa Rica.
