Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our vibrant food service team. In this pivotal role, you will act as the vital link between the kitchen staff and front-of-house operations, ensuring that food orders are prepared, coordinated, and delivered seamlessly. Responsibilities Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders Monitor food preparation progress and communicate effectively with kitchen team to prioritize tasks Verify order accuracy before serving, ensuring presentation standards and food safety protocols are met Assist in organizing food stations, maintaining cleanliness, and managing food handling procedures Support bussing duties by clearing tables swiftly to keep the dining area organized and inviting Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to track orders, update statuses, and facilitate smooth transactions Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary restrictions to meet guest needs Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Strong knowledge of food preparation, expediting processes, and food safety standards Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with kitchen staff, servers, and guests Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in busy settings Familiarity with POS systems, culinary terminology, and basic numeracy for order management Experience with banquet service, hospitality operations, or hotel food service is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing and food handling Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by ensuring every plate is perfect!
