BayCare is currently in search of our newest Scheduler who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. The Scheduler is responsible for:
Effectively and efficiently addresses the needs of both internal and external customers when scheduling patients by carefully collecting demographic, insurance, and procedure information. Accurately schedule procedures Deliver complex clinical examination instructions Document patient response to clinical questions Keep the patients physician and hospital offices current with information about their scheduled procedures Must be familiar with payer guidelines for balancing authorization requirements with scheduled appointment dates. Perform general clerical support that includes answering telephones, data entry, communication, and other assigned duties Must be flexible and willing to rotate shifts periodically Must be able to travel within the BayCare Health System area using personal transportation
Required Education:
High School or Equivalent Experience:
Required 1 year customer service or 1 year healthcare Highly Preferred Surgery Scheduler experience. Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
