Position Summary The Insurance Operations Specialist supports CSMV Underwriting Managers by processing policy endorsements accurately and efficiently. This role ensures endorsement requests are reviewed, validated, and executed in accordance with underwriting guidelines, carrier requirements, and internal service standards, helping maintain policy accuracy and strong client/producer relationships. Key Responsibilities Process policy endorsements (additions, deletions, coverage changes, address updates, vehicle/driver changes, etc.) as directed by CSMV Underwriting Managers Review endorsement requests for completeness and accuracy before processing Enter and update policy data in the agency management/underwriting system Calculate premium adjustments (pro-rata, short-rate) resulting from endorsements Issue endorsement confirmations, updated declarations pages, and related policy documents Communicate with producers, agents, and internal underwriters to clarify or obtain missing endorsement information Maintain organized, audit-ready policy files and documentation Track endorsement turnaround times and flag delays or discrepancies Ensure compliance with state regulations, carrier guidelines, and internal underwriting standards Support other underwriting operations tasks as needed (renewals, policy issuance, reporting) Qualifications High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 1-3+ years of experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or policy processing (P&C experience preferred) Familiarity with endorsement processing and premium calculation methods (pro-rata/short-rate) Active Florida 2-20 license preferred or willingness to obtain within 30days of employment Proficiency with underwriting/agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, EPIC, Sagitta, or similar) Strong attention to detail and accuracy under deadline pressure Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously across client accounts Preferred Experience Background in commercial lines underwriting or MGA/wholesale operations Experience working directly with underwriting managers on high-volume endorsement queues
