full-time Project Scheduler Plateau Excavation | Metro-Atlanta Area | Full-Time Plateau Excavation is hiring a Project Scheduler to support our growing project teams across the Southeast. This role is ideal for someone with strong construction scheduling experience, excellent communication skills, and working knowledge of Primavera P6. About the Role The Project Scheduler will help develop, maintain, and update project schedules for large-scale sitework and infrastructure projects. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field leadership, subcontractors, and clients to ensure schedules are accurate, realistic, and aligned with project goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 Build baseline schedules for active projects and pursuits Update schedules regularly based on field progress, project changes, and team input Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to gather schedule updates Analyze critical path, sequencing, delays, float, and schedule impacts Prepare schedule reports, look-aheads, and progress updates for internal and external teams Support project planning, logistics, phasing, and milestone tracking Identify schedule risks and help teams respond proactively Assist with owner/client schedule requirements and reporting Maintain organized schedule documentation throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications Experience in construction scheduling, project controls, or project management Proficiency with Primavera P6 required Heavy civil, sitework, grading, utilities, data center, industrial, or infrastructure experience preferred Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations Ability to read plans, understand scopes of work, and communicate with field teams Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, and reporting skills Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to be in office in Kennesaw, GA Ability to visit jobsites throughout the Metro Atlanta area as needed Why Plateau At Plateau, we build the groundwork for some of the Southeast's most complex projects.
