Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Home Care Scheduler/CNA/PCA/HHA to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating caregiver schedules, managing client needs, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, caregivers, and management. This role is vital in maintaining our commitment to exceptional, personalized home care services by ensuring optimal staffing and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Develop and maintain efficient caregiver schedules that align with client needs, preferences, and care plans. Communicate effectively with caregivers regarding shift assignments, schedule changes, and important updates. Collaborate with management to address scheduling conflicts or staffing shortages promptly. Ensure all shifts are adequately staffed while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies. Ensure proper use of electronic visit verification (EVV) system by caregivers. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide customer service to clients and caregivers. Foster positive relationships with caregivers and clients through clear communication and responsive service. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Proven experience in scheduling or coordinating within healthcare or home care environments preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with staff and clients. Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt schedules as needed to meet changing demands. Knowledge of home healthcare regulations and best practices is a plus. Proficiency in scheduling software or relevant computer applications required; experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous. A high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in healthcare administration is beneficial.
