This role helps keep remodeling projects moving smoothly by coordinating schedules, communicating with clients and vendors, assisting with designs and material selections, and preparing accurate cabinet orders. The ideal candidate communicates confidently, demonstrates exceptional punctuality, and manages multiple priorities with careful attention to detail. Proficiency in 2020 Design or Chief Architect, previous relevant industry experience, and the ability to take accurate field measurements for cabinet ordering are required. This position works closely with our designer, project manager, and installation teams to ensure project information is accurate, materials are ready, and clients receive professional, responsive service. Duties and Responsibilities Support the operations and design departments with daily coordination, administrative tasks, and project follow-up. Communicate with clients, vendors, and installers regarding appointments, selections, orders, deliveries, and project updates. Coordinate schedules for client meetings, site measurements, showroom visits, material deliveries, and installations. Visit project sites and take accurate measurements for cabinet layouts and ordering, documenting existing conditions with notes and photographs. Prepare cabinet orders for review, verifying dimensions, cabinet sizes, finishes, accessories, fillers, panels, trim, and hardware before submission. Review appliance and fixture specifications to confirm compatibility with cabinet layouts and identify clearance or installation concerns. Assist clients with material selections and document their choices and approvals accurately. Request vendor quotes and check pricing, availability, and lead times for cabinets, materials, and accessories. Place approved orders and track their progress, coordinating deliveries and following up on delays, shortages, damage, or incorrect items. Maintain organized project files, including measurements, drawings, selections, quotes, purchase orders, approvals, and correspondence. Keep project schedules and task lists current, following up on outstanding decisions and deadlines. Coordinate with the project manager and designer to confirm that materials, approved plans, and necessary information are ready for upcoming work. Document design and scope changes and route them for approval before updating orders or communicating commitments. Identify and report potential problems early, including measurement discrepancies, missing selections, ordering errors, and scheduling conflicts. Assist with project closeout by coordinating remaining materials, replacement items, and follow-up appointments.
Required Qualifications Relevant experience:
Previous experience in residential remodeling, kitchen and bath design, or cabinet planning and ordering.
Strong people skills:
Friendly, professional, and confident communicating with clients, suppliers, installers, and team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication:
Able to write clear emails, explain information accurately, ask questions, and keep everyone informed.
Exceptional punctuality and reliability:
Arrives on time, consistently follows the assigned work schedule, meets deadlines, and communicates scheduling conflicts promptly.
Design software proficiency:
Proficient in 2020 Design or Chief Architect, including the ability to create and revise cabinet layouts.
Accurate field measurement skills:
Able to measure kitchens, bathrooms, and cabinet spaces for design and ordering purposes, documenting dimensions, ceiling heights, openings, appliance locations, and relevant site conditions.
Cabinet ordering knowledge:
Understands cabinet sizes, fillers, panels, trim, hardware, and clearances; can review layouts and order details for accuracy.
Strong organization and time management:
Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, maintain project records, and follow through without repeated reminders.
Attention to detail:
Carefully checks measurements, product specifications, quantities, finishes, and order information. Ability to read plans and specifications: Understands floor plans, cabinet elevations, appliance specifications, and installation requirements.
Vendor and material coordination skills:
Able to request quotes, place approved orders, track lead times and deliveries, and resolve missing or incorrect items.
Computer proficiency:
Comfortable with email, calendars, spreadsheets, shared files, and learning project management software.
Initiative and problem-solving:
Identifies potential issues early, asks for clarification when needed, and brings practical solutions to the team.
Teamwork and accountability:
Works closely with operations, design, and field staff; accepts feedback and takes responsibility for assigned work.
Professional client service:

Availability for site visits:
