As Production Coordinator, you will help deliver that experience through clear, proactive communication, thoughtful coordination, and strong relationships with homeowners, our internal team, and outside partners. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Landscape Construction Production Coordinator to support and coordinate our landscape construction projects. This role works closely with and supports our current Production Manager, who leads field operations and manages the crews. The Production Coordinator focuses on project planning, purchasing, job-cost tracking, scheduling support, and customer communication, partnering with the Production Manager to keep projects organized and running smoothly. You will coordinate project schedules and resources, keep customers and teammates informed, and help deliver exceptional results on time and within budget. Strong relationships, proactive communication, and consistent follow-through are essential to success in this position. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate high-end residential landscape construction projects alongside the Production Manager, including materials, work sequences, schedules, and estimated crew days. Serve as a key point of contact for homeowners, providing proactive updates, answering questions, communicating schedule changes, and following through on concerns. Work closely with leadership, the Production Manager, and crews to keep project information accurate, priorities clear, and work moving efficiently. Review project plans and drawings to develop materials lists and ensure the team has current information. Order materials against approved estimates, confirm specifications and delivery dates, and flag potential budget overruns before purchases are made. Maintain accurate daily job-cost records, including receipts, material purchases, and subcontractor expenses. Review labor hours against estimates weekly with the Production Manager and address variances while projects are underway. Coordinate subcontractor scopes, pricing, schedules, and insurance documentation. Schedule and track inspections, keeping customers and the field team informed of requirements and next steps. Identify potential problems early, communicate them clearly, and work collaboratively to find practical solutions. Learn and consistently use company-selected software, internal systems, and AI tools to manage project information, communication, costs, and reporting. Skills and Qualifications Experience in landscape construction, residential construction coordination, or production administration. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the professionalism to work with homeowners who expect a high level of service and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive relationships with teammates, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Confidence handling challenging conversations about budgets, schedules, and expectations respectfully and constructively. Ability to read construction plans and drawings and develop accurate materials lists. Working knowledge of landscape construction materials, including stone, aggregate, pipe, plants, and pavers. Experience with purchasing, purchase orders, job costing, and tracking expenses against project budgets. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through across multiple active projects. Ability to prioritize, adapt to changing schedules, and take initiative. Willingness to learn new technology and use the software, internal systems, and AI tools selected by the company. Prior experience with a specific platform is not required.
