Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Surgery Scheduler to manage the coordination and scheduling of all outpatient and in-office surgical procedures. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between patients, physicians, clinical staff, and other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient scheduling process. Additionally, you will provide patients with clear education and guidance regarding their surgical procedures and related protocols. Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am -4:00pm with some weekend rotation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Remain organized with incoming surgery scheduling tasks/orders. Prompt outreach to patient to schedule surgery based on physician surgery blocks/OR availability. Work effectively with business office/surgery billing. Answers telephones, screens calls, take messages. Provides coverage for other Administrative Assistants as needed. Schedules patient's appointments appropriately including but not limited to surgery, pre-op, anesthesia consult. Oversee and manage physician's schedule relative to surgeries. Provides support services to patients and medical staff. Keeps medical records up to date for patient appointments and patient requests. Performs receptionist/check-out duties as necessary. Miscellaneous office responsibilities. Maintains patient confidentiality. Assists manager as needed.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. At least two years of relevant experience is preferred. Why You'll Love Working Here -
