Job Title:
Manufacturing Operations Coordinator Axiom Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Coordinator for a local manufacturing facility. This position will monitor production data, labor usage, material consumption, product yields, and overall manufacturing performance. The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and experience preparing production or operational reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Review production schedules and compare required staffing with actual labor usage. Track labor efficiency, production output, product yields, and material consumption. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Maintain dashboards, KPIs, spreadsheets, and manufacturing performance reports. Identify production variances, inefficiencies, waste, and improvement opportunities. Coordinate with Production Supervisors, Operations Managers, and Plant Leadership. Verify the accuracy of production data entered into ERP, MES, or reporting systems. Forecast labor requirements using production schedules and historical data. Assist with production planning and manufacturing workflow coordination. Reconcile material consumption and report inventory discrepancies. Support continuous improvement projects related to productivity, waste reduction, and product yields. Perform additional production reporting and coordination duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least two years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, production planning, inventory control, or operations support. Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, spreadsheets, and data analysis. Experience preparing production, labor, inventory, or operational reports. Experience using ERP or manufacturing reporting systems is preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. An associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
