Job Description

Company Overview Washington County Mini Bus specializes in para transit services, providing reliable transportation to individuals throughout the local area. Our mission is to ensure accessible, safe, and efficient transit options for all community members who need them. Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scheduler - Transit to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will coordinate daily transportation schedules, optimize route planning, and ensure seamless service delivery. Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate transit schedules using transportation software TripMaster. Conduct research, compile data, and prepare schedules in the most economical way for operations utilizing scheduling software. Monitor real-time transit operations to identify scheduling conflicts or delays and implement corrective actions swiftly. Maintain detailed records of scheduling activities, incidents, and service logs for compliance and continuous improvement. Support demand planning efforts by forecasting ridership trends and adjusting schedules accordingly. Qualifications Proven experience in transportation scheduling within a transit environment. Ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner. Have good customer service skills. This position requires problem solving and ability to work independently and within a team setting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Must be familiar with the Washington community and surrounding areas. Ability to analyze complex data sets to inform scheduling decisions and improve operational efficiency.
