This position plays an important role in keeping our residential habilitation services appropriately staffed and supporting our employees from the time they are hired through their ongoing employment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable problem-solving under pressure, and able to manage frequent schedule changes in a fast-paced environment. This position requires participation in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule. Responsibilities Create, maintain, and update employee schedules for residential homes. Ensure shifts are appropriately staffed based on client needs and staffing requirements. Manage employee call-outs and work to find replacement coverage. Communicate open shifts and schedule changes with Direct Care Staff and management. Monitor staffing levels, open shifts, overtime, and scheduling conflicts. Maintain accurate employee availability and scheduling information. Work closely with house managers and management regarding staffing needs. Assist with placement of employees in homes based on availability, training, and agency needs. Track repeated call-outs, no-shows, attendance concerns, and scheduling issues and communicate concerns to management. Participate in recruitment and hiring coordination as needed. New Hire Onboarding The Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and completing the onboarding process for new Direct Care Staff, including: Contacting new hires following acceptance of employment. Coordinating new hire paperwork and required employment documentation. Scheduling orientation and required training. Ensuring required onboarding steps are completed before employees begin working independently. Coordinating new hire schedules and placement within client homes. Communicating with house managers regarding incoming employees. Following up with new hires throughout the onboarding process. Maintaining organized and accurate onboarding records. Helping provide new employees with a welcoming, organized transition into their position. On-Call Rotation This position participates in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule , which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. While on call, the Scheduler is responsible for responding to staffing call-outs, no-shows, and urgent coverage needs. The Scheduler will make reasonable efforts to locate replacement staff and communicate with management when coverage cannot be secured or additional assistance is needed. Candidates must be comfortable being available by phone and responding to time-sensitive staffing situations during their assigned on-call rotation. Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and responsive. Comfortable communicating with employees by phone, text, and email. Ability to problem-solve and remain professional during stressful staffing situations. Ability to maintain confidential employee and client information. Previous scheduling, healthcare, residential habilitation, caregiving, HR, or administrative experience preferred. Experience with employee onboarding or hiring processes preferred. Basic computer and technology skills. Ability to participate in the required on-call rotation. We're Looking for

Pay:
