Responsibilities:

The candidate will work with suppliers to ensure future material supply and improve existing operations. They will also analyze data and prepare reports for the Purchasing Department. Reviews purchase requisitions and evaluation or conversion to purchase orders Expedites Purchase orders to ensure delivery to meet the needs of the business Assist in documenting and reporting root causes related to supplier fulfillment issues. Monitor inventory of select materials. Analyze root causes of back orders. Research and analyze cost variances. Calculate key inventory performance metrics. Participate in Purchase Order creation, placement and confirmation. Maintain and manage key purchasing and supply chain data within our ERP environment to improve daily operations. Uphold the principles and practices of the GQM business management system, including QC Thinking, Kaizen Innovation, and the corporate philosophy of GC no Kokoro. Perform other duties as may be assigned. Identifies and resolves purchase order and invoice discrepancies working in collaboration with accounts payable, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely goods receipt and payment An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. Qualifications Three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience and/or Training Experience in manufacturing environment. Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain concepts. Technology/Equipment Expertise in utilizing Excel Experience with ERP systems and/or SAP Experience Preferred.
