Job Description
Position Summary :
Responsible for scheduling outpatient radiology services, outpatient registration, and pre-certification of insurance benefits. Answers incoming calls and fields them to the appropriate department or individual. Responds to general outpatient requests. Hours/Shift Monday 830-5:00, Wednesday 830-5:00, Friday 730-4:00 + every other Wednesday or Thursday 830-5:00 OR Monday- Thursday 10:00
- 330 and Friday 10:00
- 4:00.
Position Requirements :
High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) abilities highly desirable. Must have excellent oral communications in order to solicit information and provide exam preparation requirements to patients and families. Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
