This position plays a key role in driving schedule adherence, minimizing production delays, and supporting operational excellence As a Production Planner Scheduler you will: Act as the first line of contact for plant production managers to provide insight of order prioritization and requirements Collaborate with factory teams to identify potential issues that may cause production disruptions and communicate potential issues to leaders, providing recommended solutions Evaluating resource availability (materials, employees, equipment) and confirming orders. Monitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules to address delays, capacity issues, or changing priorities. Analyze work center loads and resource requirements; support short- and long-term capacity planning. Maintain accurate scheduling data within the ERP system and ensure timely release of work orders. Monitor and report on key scheduling metrics such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, backlog status, and order aging. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scheduling processes and improve manufacturing flow. We are looking for someone who: Holds a High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. Has experience in production scheduling or planning in a manufacturing environment required. Has experience in a "make-to-order" or "engineer-to-order" manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Possesses strong knowledge of ERP systems and production scheduling tools (JDE experience a plus). Holding a APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus. Is proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; PowerPoint and Word also preferred. Has excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Has strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
