Amada Senior Care Geneva is looking for an experienced home care professional to join our team as a Scheduler & Care Coordinator. This is not an entry-level scheduling position. We are looking for someone who has worked in non-medical home care, home health, or a closely related senior-care environment and understands the unique challenges of coordinating care in clients' homes. You know that scheduling in home care is much more than filling an open shift. It's understanding client needs, caregiver strengths and personalities, availability, geography, continuity of care, family expectations — and what to do when the schedule suddenly changes.

What You'll Do As our Scheduler & Care Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the daily operation of our agency and the experience of both our clients and caregivers. Manage and maintain caregiver schedules and client coverage Match caregivers and clients based on care needs, skills, personality, availability, location, and continuity Quickly and confidently manage call-offs, schedule changes, open shifts, and urgent coverage needs Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and members of our office team Build relationships with clients and caregivers and help create a consistently excellent care experience Support caregiver engagement, reliability, and retention Coordinate changes in client needs, availability, and care schedules Maintain accurate information and documentation within our scheduling system Anticipate scheduling problems and work proactively to solve them Follow through — because in home care, details matter and people are depending on us The Experience We're Looking For Home care experience is important to us. Our ideal candidate has direct experience with home care scheduling, care coordination, client services, caregiver management, or home care operations. You should already understand concepts such as caregiver availability, client-caregiver matching, call-offs, continuity of care, changing client needs, family communication, and the urgency involved when a caregiver cannot make a scheduled shift. We're also looking for someone who is: Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented A strong communicator with excellent customer-service skills Calm and resourceful when plans change Comfortable juggling multiple priorities Able to have direct, professional conversations with caregivers and families Proactive rather than waiting for someone else to solve a problem Warm and compassionate while still maintaining accountability Someone who genuinely enjoys working with seniors and caregivers Compensation & Benefits
