Scheduler Job Summary:
Join our team at Oaklawn Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center, where we strive to provide a nurturing environment that fosters our patients' well-being, recuperation, and recovery. As a Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless coordination of our staffing needs, ensuring that our patients receive the exceptional care they deserve.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate staffing schedules for all departments, ensuring optimal coverage and efficient allocation of resources Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date staffing schedules, taking into account patient census, staff availability, and departmental needs Collaborate with department managers, nurses, and other staff members to identify and address staffing needs and concerns Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and respect Maintain confidential records and perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and reporting Develop and implement effective solutions to staffing challenges and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new processes and protocols
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma or degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred 0-2 years of experience in healthcare staffing or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities Proficiency in electronic medical records and scheduling software Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
