Position Overview As a Door-to-Door Appointment Setter , you'll serve as the first point of contact with homeowners by canvassing residential neighborhoods, introducing Allied Exteriors, creating interest, and setting qualified in-home appointments for our sales team. This is a field-based, performance-driven role designed for individuals who enjoy direct interaction, working outdoors, and building confidence through face-to-face communication. Success in this position comes from consistency, resilience, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage homeowners professionally at the door. You will receive structured training, daily coaching, and a proven door-to-door system designed to help you succeed and grow within the company. What You'll Do Canvass residential neighborhoods door-to-door and engage homeowners face-to-face Introduce Allied Exteriors' premium metal roofing solutions with confidence and professionalism Generate interest and set qualified in-home consultations (demos) for the sales team Build rapport quickly with homeowners in a direct sales environment Work outdoors daily while managing assigned neighborhoods and territories Track appointments, activity, and performance metrics consistently Represent the company with professionalism, energy, and a positive attitude Follow proven canvassing and lead-generation systems provided during training What We're Looking For We are selective — this role is for individuals who are: Commission-minded and performance-driven Comfortable in a door-to-door , face-to-face sales environment Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable Confident communicators with strong people skills Coachable and willing to follow a proven canvassing system Professional in appearance and attitude Resilient, persistent, and comfortable handling rejection Competitive individuals who enjoy working toward goals and performance incentives Must Have Reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors and walk neighborhoods for extended periods Strong work ethic, consistency, and positive attitude Ability to work independently while staying motivated in the field Preferred (Not Required) Door-to-door sales or canvassing experience Sales, lead generation, or customer-facing experience Experience in appointment setting, roofing, construction, or home services industries Compensation & Incentives Uncapped commission structure Paid per demo set + additional earnings on closed deals Weekly performance bonuses Fuel incentives On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$100,000+ Top performers exceed this through consistency, hustle, and performance Training & Growth Paid training in door-to-door canvassing, communication, and lead generation Ongoing coaching, mentorship, and field support Clear advancement path into: Closer / Sales Representative Team Lead / Management roles We invest heavily in developing entry-level talent into top-performing sales professionals and future leaders.
