Job Description
What you need to know about this position: CRH's Audiology department is located in the state-of-the-art facility, Nexus Park. The department provides comprehensive hearing evaluations, diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting and maintenance. The department employs two providers/audiologists who have over 45 years of combined experience. Responsible for scheduling and registration of patients presenting to the department. Also responsible for collecting insurance data and/or making contact with payers for prior authorization to ensure proper payment of accounts. Performs business functions essential to the department, including but not limited to reception, admitting process, record management, charge entry and/or other responsibilities essential to the smooth operations of the department. Scheduler Registrar - Precertification Specialists have a base hourly rate of $17.61. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions. This position will require you to work 30-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an average shift time of 7:30am-2pm. What is required for this position: High School Diploma or Equivalent is required Associates Degree in Business is preferred Previous experience with the precertification process for cancer detection and treatment procedures Flexibility in performing other duties such as reception desk, giving directions, escorting patients and visitors to other areas of the hospital
