Operations Coordinator
Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to keep materials moving and deliveries on track for our Building Specialties division. You will maintain inventory accuracy in our warehouse, coordinate deliveries and install schedules, and work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and our Architectural Sales team. What You'll Do Perform cycle counts, check variances, and find locations for new material Process RMAs, including receiving material and correcting stock and reason codes Research lost or mis-picked material using transaction history in our ERP system Coordinate local, territory, and special run deliveries across Building Specialties, Architectural Sales, garage doors, and cabinets Schedule window and door installs and service, track material arrival, and confirm dates with customers Manage the dock schedule rotation and assist dock and UPS desk customers as needed Help drivers with tickets, reprints, and invoice lookups, and process returned delivery paperwork Pick orders and assist with receiving Partner with Architectural Sales project managers and join a bi-weekly meeting on delivery needs Work with Finance to correct tickets and support warehouse team members with technology and safety initiatives Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfort working with computers and inventory or ERP systems Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities Preferred Experience 3+ years' experience in building materials, warehousing, distribution, or construction operations Familiarity with DMSI Agility or similar ERP/scheduling software Experience coordinating deliveries or field crew scheduling Even if you don't meet all qualifications, we welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
