Job Description
We have opened a brand new collision center with a focus on teamwork and building a positive working environment. This position will not require ordering parts. We have a dedicated parts employee.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and estimate the cost of repairs for damaged vehicles in the body shop
- Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of damage and necessary repairs
- Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates for insurance claims
- Coordinate with technicians and other staff to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repair orders, estimates, and invoices
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and processes
- Proficient in using estimating software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members
- Attention to detail to accurately assess vehicle damage and estimate repair costs
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
