Job Description

The Title Operations Specialist Tier I works in a team-driven environment from the Manhattan, KS office and reports directly to the Title Operations Manager. This role involves ensuring titles are distributed to buyers accurately and in a timely manner, updating and managing records and systems, and collaborating with team members within the department and across other Purple Wave departments. The specialist will work with buyers and the Customer Service team to resolve title questions and issues. The ideal candidate will be motivated, diligent, efficient, flexible, desire personal growth, and team-oriented.
Responsibilities:
Process incoming and outgoing title documents, updating internal systems with high accuracy. Update and maintain internal systems to accurately track the flow of work and information. Monitor workflow processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with title transfer standards. Coordinate with the Lender Services team to ensure consistent adherence to standards, protocols and processes. Collaborate within the Title Operations team to learn and solve problems. Maintain and organize document files and folders to ensure they are easily accessible and well-organized. Collaborate effectively with various departments to foster open communication and ensure smooth operations. Demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities as assigned. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of title standards, processes, and procedures in order to provide a quality service to our buyers and sellers. Train to become a subject matter expert to assist team members, other departments, buyers, and sellers with title issues, finding resolutions and efficiencies. Investigates, resolves, or elevates issues regarding asset transferability. Ensure that listing standards for all titleable assets are maintained. Undertake additional assigned duties as requested.
Working Settings:
Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, eligible for overtime. Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, overtime may be required to achieve due dates. Overtime is compensated in accordance with US Department of Labor requirements. Based in the Purple Wave headquarters in Manhattan, KS. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
