Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager Job Description:
Lot Operations is the backbone of the Team here at Mid Kansas Auto Auction. It is a part-time position, some overtime will be required. Starting pay is $11.00 an hour. Pay increase after 30 days. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The work of the lot ops crew member will require exposure in all of the elements, inside and outside. Perform sale day duties i.e. moving & parking vehicles Managing and marking the back lot for customer vehicles Responsible for maintaining and updating all facets of facility maintenance Actively report progress to Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager Must be flexible as there are frequent changes of plans and customer interruptions Engage in all team efforts and promote teamwork Resolve any customer issues in a friendly, courteous manner Establish a strong working relationships with teammates Walking cars, checking details, verifying work has been completed Performing inventory audits of the assets on property (cars, equipment needed to perform duties, etc.) Assist the marketing team in setting up/tearing down for monthly promotional events Various other daily tasks assigned by Lot Ops Leader/Operations Manager Qualifications include: Strong verbal communication and interaction skills required Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, squat, knee and walk for prolonged periods of time, must be able to lift 5-10 pounds. Vision abilities required Exposure to weather conditions, fumes, and noises Professional customer etiquette Self-motivated and goal oriented Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver's license MKSAA reserves the right to revise or change job duties and responsibilities as the need arises.
