Chief Medical Office Work Location Lexington, KY Grade Level 08 Salary Range $19.00-30.09/hour Type of Position Staff Position Time Status Full-Time Required Education AS Click here for more information about equivalencies: https://hr.uky.edu/employment/working-uk/equivalencies Required Related Experience 2 yrs Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to verbally and physically demonstrate skills in a simulation lab using equipment; work independently; perform work at a desk for potentially extended periods of time; provide technical support for simulation operations; and maintain equipment in a simulation lab including cleaning, troubleshooting issues, and making minor repairs. Shift Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; may require some flexibility to meet work demands outside normal business hours and occasional weekends. Job Summary The Simulation Operations Specialist will be responsible for implementing simulations activities, which includes: task training and high fidelity patient simulator programs, writes/programs simulated clinical scenarios, sets up and breaks down clinical simulation event equipment and supplies, maintains supply and equipment and learning resources inventory and maintenance contracts; works with clinical program directors and faculty to advance learning goals and learner skills through simulation.

/ Abilities The ideal candidate will possess experience with technical equipment/software and oral and written professional communication skills and strong knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Word.
